Prayer is a lifestyle. It should be done as often as possible. Prayer is a conversation, a two way street between man and God. Jesus said we are to watch and pray. God watches over His word to perform it. Prayer is a time for both man and God to speak, and watch. If you are not prayerful you are not qualified to serve God. Prayer is a must. You can not do anything without prayer and it makes you more sensitive to the Spirit of God. You become more relevant to the Kingdom of God.

Knowing how to hear God's voice is even more relevant today because there is so much deception in the world. Your spirit is the candle (lamp) of the Lord and God uses our spirit to guide us. You need to know God's voice to be able to follow Him. We are to seek His guidance being more spiritually mindful than physically mindful because this is where we have dominion, after all God is Spirit and we are too. As long as we are caught up with cares of this life we are carnal, in strive and division and this keeps us from the Spirit realm where we subdue the enemy. When distracted from the mind of God we are distracted from the inward man, the real man. We need to be God inside mindedness to become a new race, a new creature, the righteousness of God.
