God is always speaking but are we always postured to hear Him? Today is a new day, a day of beginning. A day to seek His face and hear His voice through reading His word. God speaks through His word. Those that have ears to hear let Him hear. When we refuse to read the word are we also refusing to hear Him and to seek His face? Could all those missed opportunities have been wonderful times of refreshing and fellowship with God.
Many times he speaks in other ways like through a still small voice, and/or the men or women of God but quiet time alone with Him is such a great opportunity to fellowship and flourish. Every time we don't take the opportunity to read and study our bible I believe, we miss a word from the Lord for our personal life, day-to-day activities or a word for someone else. I wonder how much of life would be different were we more diligent in this area, How much of a daily download do we miss? How many blessings elude us?
If you too have concerns about hearing God's voice,just be reminded that God loves us and wants to speak with us daily, to share His heart and vision for our life. I pray that we will become convicted and repent from being too busy to hear, seek God's face, and pray according to His will. Amen.
